There are more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches at Arches National Park, making it the world’s greatest concentration of these structures. These arches, sculpted by wind and water erosion over millions of years, are unlike anything else in the world.

In Arches National Park, you can go hiking or rock climbing on a wide range of trails, from short strolls to strenuous backcountry ascents. Many climbers and hikers visit the area each year to investigate its extraordinary geological formations.

The park features a beautiful drive that allows visitors to experience the park’s wonders at their own pace and in the comfort of their own vehicles. Several of the park’s most recognizable arches, as well as other geological phenomena, are included in the route stops.
